I have a few important points to share with you about the upcoming week:

1-Please make sure that you have submitted the Athletic Health Form, 2 notarized originals of the Medical Authorization Form, and the Concussion statement. These forms must be on file in order for your child to participate in the meet on Wednesday. I am absolutely not allowed to take your child to the race on Wednesday if these forms are not on file here at school.

2-Beginning next Friday (9/4) I will begin taking the top 14 (boys and girls combined) runners off campus to do a workout. I will do this EVERY OTHER FRIDAY beginning 9/4. Some of our more beginning runners need the break for their legs to recover, and the more advanced runners need the miles. There may be a little bit of fluctuation in the top 14 throughout the season, so I will send an email with the list of who is going off campus on the Monday of the week it is happening. I will drive them in a mini bus, and we will be back in time to catch the late bus. Please let me know if you have any questions.

3-David Field's family is providing refreshments at the meet Wednesday. Thank you!

4-The race next Wednesday is not going to be held at the school. I am including all meet details here:
 

Fayetteville Academy will be hosting the first conference meet of the season next Wednesday, September 2. We will NOT be holding the meet at our school this year. It will be held at the Jordan Soccer Complex and the address is 445 Treetop Drive, Fayetteville, NC  28311.

Below are the details.

Schedule:

3:45pm Walk thru (will be brief)

4:30pm  Boys Race

5:10pm  Girls Race

Course: The course is located at the Jordan Soccer Complex 445 Treetop Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28311.This will be an out and back course on an asphalt paved trail. 

Parking: Since this is a soccer complex there is plenty of parking for large commercial buses. There is a covered area for teams to set up and restrooms available. Water will be available to runners at the start/finish line.
