Head Coach

Biography:

Coach Robbie Park is a UEFA B Licensed soccer coach from Glasgow, Scotland, as well as a former student-athlete at the University of New Brunswick, Canada, where he was a key part of the Reds Men's soccer program. During his time, the Reds won a National Silver medal, National Bronze medal and 3 conference championships from 2013-2017. Park's key highlight came in the 2015 USPORT Semi-Final where he scored the winning goal in Over-Time to send the Reds to their second National Championship Final in the programs history, the prior was in 1980. Upon graduating, he spent 2 years living in different parts of the world, coaching and studying soccer, gaining an understanding of how the game operated in different cultures, before returning to Scotland due to the pandemic outbreak.

During that time, he attained a Masters in Sport Management from University of Stirling (Scotland’s Sporting Excellence University) and achieved extra soccer coaching licenses which allowed him to apply his past experiences to professional soccer. Coach Park became the youngest Assistant Head Coach in the Scottish Professional Leagues for Gretna FC. Park's influence and knowledge helped the Anvils stay clear of relegation, achieving more wins and points than the previous 3 seasons combined on a shoe-string budget. Park learned from ex-pros and experienced coaches during his time at the club, before moving to North Carolina with his family.
