Parrott Academy played to a 2-2 draw Friday afternoon in Kinston at Dumas Field.
APA senior striker Zacchaeus Rasberry netted two goals, one in each half.
Patriot sophomore Jubal Mcbeth notched both assists for Coach Steve Logan's squad.
SDS, the NCISAA 2A defending state champs, took a 2-1 lead in the second half before Mcbeth drove the ball down the left flank and sent it across the goal for Rasberry to nod home the tying goal with 17 minutes remaining.
The Warriors outshot the Patriots 18-11, as APA goalkeeper made eight saves.
